Damn it I want this for my new house which I still not got the keys to.... how can I buy and store this!!!
    Dusty666's avatar
I bought one from LG and didn't use straight away, as I was waiting till I'd painted before hanging it. Opened it after about 5 weeks and turned it on. TV went off and wouldn't come back on. It needed a new panel. LG would not give me a new TV as I'd had it for more than 30 days. Still repaired under warranty though, I wish I'd switched it on as soon as I'd purchased it. Just for advice, if you are going to store it, give it a full test first.

Well mine came yesterday, got it up on the wall today, looks great, very bright and a nice upgrade from the 65CX.

Interestingly and surprisingly manufacture date is May 24.

Not working for me. Generated a referral code but trying to apply it won't work.

"XXXXXXXXX is a code that is not available on the product or is not valid."
    DribbleHead's avatar
Just managed to get it to work, I tried using it off the account that I used to refer and the code worked, maybe this will help!
  7. kingsofadam's avatar
Can you also use standard vesa wall mount? Or do you have to use the built in one?
    CraigFerguson's avatar
I have recently put a 55" G2 on a wall with a different wall mount. The one LG provide allows the TV to sit almost entirely flush with the wall, but doesn't allow a space for e.g . a wall socket or anything else that might protrude slightly.

When you go yo order it it order fails gives error and removes the 5% Welcome Coupon tried 3 accounts , how do it so all 3 vouchers work ?
    steveex's avatar
Took me a minute to figure it out.
    >Sign up for LG friends.
    >Confirm email.
    >When signed in, add TV to basket.
    >The two vouchers, LG Friends and Football 10% are avaaible to select, which brings the price to £16xx.
    >At the bottom of the page there is a refer a friend link, click through.
    >Add another email address you have access to and send
    >Access that email, click through the link and confirm that email address.
    >This will generate a 10% code that for whatever reason you can copy, then go back to your order and add that code to the field directly adjacent to available codes tab.
    >When added, the third refer a friend code is available to select.
Definitely works. Have ordered and had order confirmed as per OP price.

This is an absolute steal. Also, I do not need it. Also, it does not fit. Also, I want it. Also, I could make it fit.

    Damn HUKD!
  11. Snyper83's avatar
Wow, I got the G3 77 for 2499 a couple months ago and thought it was a bargain. This is an epic price - granted 1 gen older but that’s quite a saving. Hope this helps a few out. As for whether to get a G series - yes, it’s a huge upgrade over most TVs, albeit picture not quite as the Sony but they never seem to get discounted
    warriorscot's avatar
In this case the generation is quite a big difference for the G series from 2 to 3.
  12. Theoracle36's avatar
Mega deal. Absolute bargain for that price.
  13. snoopy18's avatar
For the refer a friend you can just refer another email you have and that will generate a code straight away
So you just have to register the one time (edited)

    Tarlok_Kharpal's avatar
You just need to register with lg with another email address which you have not used on their site before. Then use the link on this deal to send yourself a referral code. You will get the 10% off from LG, 10% for your referral code you generate and 5 % welcome bonus.
  25. Scuzzly's avatar
Should student discount stack with this? There is an extra 10% off OLEDs code but keeps saying code not valid.
  26. DribbleHead's avatar
I'm having the same issue, not sure why :/

Way too expensive. Will cost over £20k once I’ve moved house to accommodate it.
    AamirQuazi's avatar
Only £20k…thats a bargain! Stamp duty alone would be more for me!
  32. Crossbow's avatar
    G2 is better rtings.com/tv/…847,
but depending on your uses it may not matter that much to you.
How much are you able to get the B3 for? It has been just over £1500 not too long ago hotukdeals.com/dea…460 (edited)

Omg why have I only just received this message today but it ran out 2 days ago 🤦‍♀️ I need a new tv. Still using my Lg oled G960V from June 2016 which cost me 3500 at the time but it has really bad screen burn now, with channels permanently on show in top left corner of screen and lines across bottom n centre of screen. This tv would have been a great deal. Maybe I’ll receive the email in time next times there’s an offer.

For those who missed this, the 77B4 is £1800 at Costco now. Apart from the better audio on this, I suspect the picture would be as good/better on that than the G2. They've removed a lot of the disadvantages of the B range on the B4 (has 4 full 2.1 HDMI etc now).
    AamirQuazi's avatar
I just ordered an 77G4, replaced my 65G2 (thanks to the usual ukhd making me spend money i didnt need to spend!)

apart from the bigger screen and the difference in os i cant see a different in picture quality… once i calibrated it the same.

Most people even gamers will be more than happy with a b4…. Boils down to mounting… if you are going to wall mount it then i’d still opt for a G series.
  38. garyho1220's avatar
All of a sudden, my 65CX just won't turn on anymore. I might need this deal stays alive
