You arrive in London at 07:00 and leave again at 23:00 with no time/way to book anything in advance....what do you do? I have this very dilemma so any ideas would be great! Cheers.

Walk from Victoria to Westminster - over the bridge to the South Bank and along the South Bank to Tower Bridge. On the other side of the river, loop back past the tower of London, walk through the City of London to St Paul's. [This first part takes you past many of London's key sites - Big Ben, The Eye, City Hall, the Tate, The Globe etc and could take hours depending on how many you go inside].

From St Paul's take the tube to Covent Garden and explore that area. Or go to South Kensington and check out the museums. Or go to Green park and walk a loop around Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Regents Park, the Mall etc.

If coming on Monday make use of free travel and coffee if you have a newish Android phone and a Mastercard. See separate thread.
Adding to above suggestions go to Tate Modern on the top floor for fantastic views for free.

Going to London this Monday to see Brit Floyd at the Royal Albert Hall, so this will help with ideas to kill time. Thanks.
