Sure it's not 2 out of 7 ? Maybe an error. Means any 2 days off out of the 7, likely to change each week

From the ad: 12 hour shift pattern that gives you 2 out of 4 nights off

Maybe an error, that's why I'm asking because I just can't imagine what does it mean.

Maybe only a 4 day working week, still 48 hours after all.

The ad is worded weirdly though, now I've re-read what I've typed it makes less sense, haha.

Just a guess, but does it mean that you must have two nights off work during any four consecutive nights that are working nights so that you don't actually end up working four consecutive nights in a row.

It has proven that working night shifts over a long period is bad for your health and long term, your longevity. Therefore this is probably in place to mitigate that.

same as two on two off

Sounds like 2 on 2 off like tominator says so will be a 28 day shift cycle.

Sounds like 2 on 2 off like tominator says so will be a 14 day cycle.

Will be a 20 day cycle. So should average out 45 hours over 30 days.

Not for me. I would prefer 7 nights on 7 days off. Chopping and changing messes with you more.

Means 4 nights in 2 days off 4nights in 2 days off repetitively
