20gb plus MP3 player

My 20gb mp3 player has just died and I am on the look out for a 20gb plus maybe 30gb mp3 player.

I do not particularly want an Ipod as I think sometimes you pay for the name and not the actual product. I have seen a Creative player and like the look of that, but I thought I would ask on here as I have seen some decent deals on here before, that have saved me some money.

How much are you looking at spending? You can get a Creative Zen Vision M 30GB MP3 Player for £190 at Argos.co.uk; I have a Creative Zen and it's fabulous.

But the 60GB version is only £160 on the net :?

If mainly interested in mp3 and not mp4 then you could get a new creative sleek/photo 20gb mp3 player from ebay for under a £100....

Probably a bit old and bulky compared to later models tho....

I should have actually said that I am looking to spend in the region of £100 to £150, but if a 60gb is available for an extra tenner then I would stretch to that, as that seems a good price for a 60gb player.

I have looked at the Zen Vision, as my wife has a Creative Touch and that is a nice sounding player. It could be good if it has the added benefit of being able to watch movies as well, as I fly over to Spain on a regular basis and would be nice to watch a film on the flight.

I might look into the 60gb version.

I don't get why so big. You won't listen to all that music. Hard-drive mp3 players are easier to break too =/ I went through 2 Creative Zen Micro 5GB and now I've stolen my brother's Ipod Nano 2GB and can tell you I prefer the Nano by far.

With the larger storage you can have your whole music collection on the one portable device that you can take anywhere. The other big advantage is you can set it to randomly play all tracks. Makes me smile when a favourite track from 15 years ago comes on....
