22" widescreen monitor

I am looking at buying a 21"+ widescreen monitor as my 19" CRT is getting a bit annoying! I have found this one to be the cheapest and was wondering if it is ok to buy such a cheap monitor, or could it be poor quality, etc.?

http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=14627&category_id=364&manufacturer_id=0&tid=m2babwhttp://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=14627&category_id=364&manufacturer_id=0&tid=m2babw

Also my PC is about 5 years old, so is there even any point in getting a large monitor - will I actually be able to use it with my computer or is unlikely??

Thank you in advance for any help,

Stufai

bit cheaper here £149.99 delivered

lcd display best at there top res which is1680x1054,which is quite high it wont matter if your using it for browsing or media.if your pcc is old it will struggle with games at that high a res.

overall the specs look ok.just no digital inputs but at that price you cant complain.

it will be poor quality for that price, especially as it has no DVI. It prob. will work with your pc though you're better off paying £40 more for an LG 22" with DVI input (if you have DVI in your pc)

What would the implications of it having no DVI be? Would that just mean that the quality is worse?

Also would it be possible to plug a Playstation into the screen and what would I need to do that?

Thanks for all your help,

I would say, and I'm going to be shot down here, that you'll hardly notice any difference with a DVI connection...I have tried both on my monitor and could not see any improvement when connected on DVI...others with sharper vision may have a different experience.
