yes not bad, about £320 on amazon, personally I would buy this: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/5447785/Samsung-T240-24-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor-Gloss-Rose-Black-With-HDMI/Product.html

£25 caschback and 6% quidco, although initial spend is higher

Yeah i see that one, read a few review i think some ppl said its not that good viewin angle or something, not good for photoshop, animation i dunno.

the viewing angle is about the same on both sets, unless your viewing at a really funny angle, i believe you'd be fine, there aren't that many reviews on the net for the samsung, can't find one (as it's a new monitor) but the next model down seems to rate highly

the samsung T240 is a 24-inch LCD display and NOT a TV.

are you looking for monitor and TV as well.

regards

The only 1920x1200 combined monitor/TV at the moment as far as I know is the 26" Samsung T260HD, the T240HD isn't out yet here. They're both TN panels so the vertical viewing angles suck, which in practical terms means different colours at the top and bottom of the screen and a picture that'll change with even the smallest head movement up or down. These effects are subtle enough that most people can ignore them during normal use (in fact some people never notice them in the first place) but obviously they're not ideal if you're doing art work and trying to get a specific colour.

Yeah, any screen will work if you use a TV tuner on a laptop or a freeview box with compatible inputs.

This one might be worth looking at too: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139277
