Also looking for a decent 32" smart (with native Plex app). Tempted to get this from Richer Sounds Samsung UE32K5500. Similar models may be £10 cheaper in Currys but this comes with 6 years warranty.

one thing I've noticed is a number of new smart TVs don't have a scart socket. As I have a number of old games consoles that use scart is there a way round this?

Yes. Buy a scart to hdmi converter, or a converter cable. You can pick one in on eBay for less than £10.

You could slightly downgrade the screen size to 27.5" TV 720p and get the lg 28mt48s. It has component; scart; hdmi; headphone out etc. Not full hd but for the screen size does not matter. make sure you get this one and not the LG 28MT48DF which has less connectivity.

I recently bought one as I have some old game consoles. The lg 28mt48s does get good reviews. Richer Sounds has it for instore only. Amazon used to stock it but not at the moment.

Which smart functionality do you want? A Smart TV isn't just a Smart TV, there are different levels of smartness.
