Ok the downstairs tv has died RIP. So looking for a new one with a budget of around £400. Is there anything stand out or to look out for. Its honestly hardly ever used. May have Retropie played on it and it ve hooked up to a freeview box and a now tv box. Possibly looking at a lg smart tv as i think they have the now tv app on them but not overly important? Im not really sure we need 4k but is it a case of get it now before it is needed? Seen some digihome cheap 49" sub £300. Dont want to spend more than is needed and i suppose maybe a larger screen is more important than the features. Main thing is just getting value for money but my knowledge on this is severely lacking lol any help would be gratefully received

From what youve said the Digihome/Techwood would be fine. They sell them at Co-op, or AO
make sure its the thin bezel 4K 2016 model as they are much better
The Digihomes currently on sale in co-op are the older models with the thicker bezel

Thanks for the replies the hisense looks good to be fair. Mind spent ages going around in circles lol i did see http://www.tps.uk.com/?tab_name=LG&tab_id=59&choice_name=TV&choice_id=4&product_group_id=321&product_name=LG_49UH661V_49-inch_WebOS_4K_HDR_Freesat_IPS_LCD_TV&product_id=3130&choice_type=1 which whilst over the budget a bit seems like it could be a decent deal but again, probably edge to the hisense as id guess anyones idea is better than mine. Mind the other has a 7 year warranty and a tv stand which i will need to get either way lol

Better picture, better sound, more apps. I think you'd be shocked at how bad it looked if you had the opportunity to run a Sony ZD9 or LG B6 alongside it for a few days using top quality content.
