Let's stir up a hornet's nest; You are posting from an Android device - doesn't that tell you something about iPhones? (_;)

Mines been like this since the iOS update months ago. Apple aren't holding hands up to being at fault may be a problem with the wifi chip but been told it's hit and miss whether it will work after repair. Have you noticed that it also affects Bluetooth aswell? I've tried everything including the hair dryer trick but have now accepted it will never work again.

I had this happen to my 4s in September, tried the hairdryer tip and no joy, but Cpl weeks ago went on a walk to a local landmark and its always very windy and cold there, was listening to music on my iphone when it suddenly crashed, when it turned back on my wifi function was working again, I have heard that when it gets too hot ( especially when downloading the new ios) it heats up the solder and it needs to get cold to set it again, mines been ok for a month now after losing function for 2 months
