If you can't be bothered to build yourself. Overclockers.co.uk have a good range of machines, like this one:

A 3GH quad core, and the top of the range ATI card make it an absolute monster for games. Add a screen of your choice with the change you have.

Good rep of Co
Good reviews
Tweak/update few of components (this particular one built in Feb 08) & you've got a future-proofed, cracking gaming PC with good customer back-up...

To be honest, the specs of those machines are not as good as the one I posted, and they cost more??:?

Things that are of most importance for a gaming PC:

- Graphics card - Higher number names don't always mean better!
- Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo or Quad core at the only ones to consider
- Memory - 2GB is an absolute minimum. 4GB is better
