A laptop for under £500

I would like to buy my wife a laptop for Christmas. There is no need for it to be wireless so the money can go into other areas of the computer's performance. Can anybody recommend one that they use, please. Many thanks in advance.

I still think this is a cracker from Comet.

Don't forget to go through Quidco for cashback.

I don't think you can beat the Dell model recommended above..also comes with a free all in one printer/scanner...it also has an excellent graphics card...and nearly all laptops come with wireless these days so I doubt whether you'll make any savings there.

That Dell is now under the £500 budget and worth snapping up pretty quick at £478 delivered. Buy through QuidCo for another 5.5% in cashback, big bargain ;-)

In my humble opinion THE DELL.

I went for the comet one, it looks really nice, has had brilliant reviews, bigger hard drive, and is a brill price at £489.99
