A question about Hilton hotels

I booked a room and I read that the check in time is 3pm, is this quite normal for London hotels ? When I arrive later then there shouldn't be any problems ?

Thanks for help

no-its the 'earliest' u can check-in, although if u ask nicely u can usually check-in earlier ;)
No as drdaniel says you will be fine, they give an earliest time that you can arrive to allow them to clean the rooms from the previous guests.
I thought your question was going to be

"If I stay at a Hilton Hotel, do I have to sleep with Paris Hilton?"

Just kidding have a great weekend!!
All hotel companies have a "check in" time to allow for the rooms to be cleaned from the previous night. Naturally if you arrive earlier and they can accommodate you you can check in ealier. Normally if you have guaranteed your room you would need to cancel it before "check in" time in order not to pay a cancellation fee (unless you have a pre booked rate!)
If you have guaranteed your room with a credit or debit card you can arrive any time of day or night after 3pm as you will be charged for it! They will not let go of your room.
Hope that helps
Have fun!
if is after midnight make sure they do a late night check in
we rang before our stay and requested an early checkin and out-we had been offered this online with the booking-and rang to confirm on the morning-we were allowed in the room at 12 instead of 3pm, and we stayed until 2 instead of 12-which was the time we asked for-so they were really accomadating.

Have a lovely time.
