Thanks for the reply but I can get it unlocked for £9 on EE.

I was hoping if someone know of a free way to do it at all.

there are loads of alleged free ways on you tube but I have never managed to get them to work for me.

From the guy I spoke to on the online chat said you can only unlock it for free when your contract comes to an end / or renewed from when the original contract would have come to an end and if it's the same phone that you took the contract out with and I bought this phone from someone else so can't get it done for free :( but cheers for the link
