A friend got a new digital camera and gave me their old one. It uses 2 x AA batteries but literally eats them in next to no time. Anyone know of any AA Battery deals on the go at the moment ...online or instore?
Thanks

Do I need to buy a re-charger then? The power adapter for camera was lost apparently so I just have a usb cable.

Definitely use rechargeable batteries, you can buy 4 with a charger really cheaply nowadays, Argos have lots of examples. I also keep 2 spare charged up in my camera bag ready to put in when the ones in the camera run out, then when these have been charged them up, put them back in the camera as spares and so on.

My son tried to use rechargable batteries and the camera just couldn't handle them and kept shutting off saying the batteries needed changing. The lithium ones are excellent but we also used the Duracell Ultra AAs on holiday for the last 2 weeks and only had to change them once. Just to give you an idea of the use it had my son took about 1100 photos in 2 weeks.
