Try the Harcourt on Stephens Green. Right in city centre and near all the night life. Has its own night club too.

Price depends on number in room

I went to Dublin for 2 nights last week. We stayed in an apartment in the centre, just a few minutes walk from Temple Bar area. The apartment was really nice and in a great location. We booked the apartment through staydublin.com and it worked out at £22.75 per person, per night, so £45.40 each for 2 nights.
Staydublin do apartments in that area for 1 bed for 2 people to 3 bed apartments that sleep up to 7 people, so I am sure there will be an apartment suitable for you.
From Dublin airport you can catch a bus just outside the tourist information booth in the airport, it costs 6 eoros each way into Dublin centre or 11 euros for a 3 day rambler pass. The bus takes you to the centre which is literally about a 4-5 minute walk from the apartments.
Hope this helps
