I would recommend an Intel processor over AMD.
Especially i3 or i5
I want one with hdmi and getting one of those processors and hdmi costs a fair bit more so something had to give.
This is the laptop I've picked out for my cousin:

V.similar to the one you've chosen aside from the basic ATI graphics card.
The i3 has a GPU on the CPU dye, so doesn't really need a dedicated gfx card.

Both laptop's will be good as a basic computer (no heavy gaming), but I would spend the extra £50 if you can stretch that far.
The i3 will simply last longer - meaning it won't show it's age as quickly as the AMD.

Also, whichever one you go for, it maybe a good idea to order from Amazon; even if it is a few £ more. Mainly because if something was to go wrong with the computer, they are simply fantastic with customer service & returns/exchange :)

I'm surprised i didn't notice that one!thanks for that.
No probs.

But I hope you already ordered it as it has gone out of stock @ £430.

They have pretty much the same laptop @ £458 here:
