As far as I can tell, apart from colour scheme the only difference is GSync and a large pile of folding green stuff; does anyone know if there is any real difference? (AMD GFX, so GSync is useless to me).

I may - or may not - have bought one today (orders wont be processed until tomorrow, although they were fast enough to take the money!!).

The 32" is only £50 more - I was soooooooo tempted.

I do have an AMD card, but the price difference between the two models is HUGE, far more than the difference between other models where one is Freesync and the other is GSync.

That is why I asked if there were any other differences that I havent spotted.

I have a R7 265, which although technically above the R7 260 in hierarchy, DOESNT support Freesync, however, the XZ271 was such a bargain, that I had enough money to order an 8GB MSI RX 470 Gaming to go with it.

I am hoping it all turns up in time to fit for my birthday.

Depends which XB you are asking about.

There is a XZ271 and a XB271, so I guess I was asking about the XB271.

XB271 is a series of monitors, it should have two letters on the end. XB being the series, 27 being the size and 1 being because it is the version after 0.

OK, I was under the impression that the extra letters (as per many other brands) referred to the country of intend sale and the colour options.

Mind you, I was always under the impression that the first two digits were the screen size, yet I have come across several xxx24xxxx models where the screen size (according to review sites), is 27".

I dont have time to look up the extra letters right now, I have been rebuilding my daughters PC, and sods law, the psu has developed a fan death rattle, so got to take it out and put in my last good spare.

The Xeon server chip is working well though; well worth the £19.
