Acoustic Guitar - Ideal for the first-time player/learner

Hello

I'm looking to buy my daughter her first guitar, i've come across the Martin Smith acoustic guitars which look solid judging by the pictures.

Are these good guitars, or could anyone recommend a good maker in learner guitar?

Thanks

if it were me id get something cheap if she is just starting out as the learning curve when starting out is very steep and unless you have real passion for it you probs wont stick to it ive had cheap guitars expensive ones aswell but unless you can play at a resonable level its not worth spending the money until you know she is really into it

Had 2 really good quality starter guitars from gear4music, good service too.
