Pretty sure that I have seen allen key sets in pound shops if you don't want to spend much?

Generally the Allen bolts are standard for a seat so Halfords would do it but to be honest it would be cheaper from a local DIY store for a normal set of Allen keys rather than a bike specific set.

+1, or stop by Halfords and ask the assistant for a favour.

Wilko do a set of 8 for 95p HERE

A local bike shop would do it for free (if they're a good shop), what Halfords would do all depends on the quality of the staff on that specific store.

Poundland sell them. Lidl/Aldi have a few left over multi-tools that have different sized Allen keys for about £2. Wilkos sell a lot of cheap bike kit, so do Tesco, not too sure about Asda.

Know any neighbours who ride bikes? Go around and ask them, people who ride bikes will happily bore you for five minutes talking about bikes whilst they show you how to do it.

If it's a star then it's Torx keys/bits you need.

Poundland will have them, normally 12 or more for a pound are you sure it's not a bolt to undo though.

I work for halfords just pop into any store with the bike straight to the cycle desk and ask them if they can adjust it for you they won't say no job done

If it is a star, as in torx as mentioned above the Lidl Multi-tools key set has a few sizes of torx, they may not have a lot left of them.

Thank you everyone, I actually asked my workplace and they had these, so got job done :)
