Advice Needed - Lelli Kelly Shoes

Hi folks, my Daughters nana has offered to buy her some Lelli Kelly Shoes (against my better judgement as i think they are sooooo over priced) cos that's what nanas do.

Anyway there are no local stockists near us and she doesn't drive so looks like we'll have to order online.

Does anyone know anything about their sizing. I tend to stick to clarks or startrite ( when we had a local stockist) does anyone know how their sizes compare to say Clarks, are they similiar or do you need to go up/down a size or so etc. many thanks.

Above comment deleted; if you have anything to sell you need to start a thread in FS

I found the following on mumsnet:
My DD6 has about 6 pairs of LK's at the moment. Some are sandals, some are pumps and she has a pair of ankle boots. I find their sizing a bit on the large size, almost 1 size out. If you put them into a pillow case and wash them on a cool wash they come up a treat. They also sell realy well on Ebay so you will get most of your money back when you sell on.
P.s. They only come in the one width fitting.

not that i've seen but maybe some do

why does she want to buy lelli kelly anyway? seen one of those vacuous adverts and decided thats what granddaughter should be wearing? she been told 'they are the best'? in reality with no stockist she really hasn't a clue other than 'ooh shiny'?

if she really wants to then id let her as long as she knows that if they dont fit to your satisfaction they go straight back. (look for free returns)
its bad enough getting expensive shoes that fit right, but really expensive ones that dont? no thanks

good nanas do what they are told (_;)

Try ebay - my daughter prefers sketchers now but when she was younger I'd buy her lelly kellies and i'd usually find last years on ebay for around 1/2 price as long as she isn't too fussy about the 'free' gift

I've bought those twinkle toe ones twice for my daughter, they just as nice too.
