Look at the reviews for some recent games, or ones on the horizon and there are some with high scores if they are your sort of thing, i.e., Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3, for instance.

I don't think the Wii games are ever going to compete with similar 360 or PS3 games, so if you have one of those systems I reckon you will always be disappointed with the Wii games as the novelty of the control method wears off quite quickly.

Yes they are coming out NOW nearly a year after the launch of the consoel - which is so stupid as now i dont have a wii and all the games i wanted are coming out but im not paying £180 for the wii again maybe £150

I have got Mario Party 8 and haven't got on with it yet, but haven't had much time to give it either.

I got carnival games and played it yesterday for the first time (on my own) and loved it, very easy to pick up and get going with.

I really hate having to go through all the stuff with the wii games, i don't know if i'm missing something but i wish you could just skip to the start rather than having to go through screen after screen (mario part 8, boogie and big brain) carnival you can skip which is great.

Mario Party 8 is mince and a big let down.

For the age group i'd say Mario + Sonic Olympics and Super Mario Galaxy (not sure if they are officially out yet over here?) but they are both very, very, very good!
