advice on replacement monitor from dell

hiya ,
I am looking for some advice and it may sound silly but it just seems strange that i have been offered this monitor from dell.

I brought the dimension E520 deal from here a couple months back with the 22" monitor for an amazing price.

Since then i have had proplems with the backlight on the 22" screen(A00), Dell have sent a replacement 22" (A01) which also has backlight bleed.

I have been in contact with the same customer services bloke at all times and he has now said his manager has offered to me the 2407WFP which seems an unreal swap for the spec.

can anyone advise if this 24" monitor is better than the 22" or am i possibly going from one problem to another. or is this a normal upgrade for unhappy customers?

i have googled the panel and seems it has mixed reviews like the 22" so if anyone has one can they reply on its performance ect .

thanks :-D

We use quite a few of the 24" at work & they seem pretty good quality to me!
Nice large screen & good display and we've had no problems with any of them so far, so they seem reliable, if that helps you at all?

PS - All of our PCs come through Dell and we normally get a good upgrade on any faulty products (ie 24" monitor to replace 20" etc if we moan enough!!)
thanks nc.macd

i was worried that i maybe making a wrong choice in excepting , but maybe it will be ok , thing is i havent really complained that much lol.
