Advice on PrePaid Debit Cards

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help?

Im looking to use a prepaid debit / credit card for my daily spend. I was going to load a MAX of £100 a week and I would use it for shopping, petrol and other bits and its a good way in order to maintain my spending.

Alot of cards are free but a few have some fees for ATM withdrawals, each spedn etc. and was hoping to get a free one but they seem to be few and far between. Also, I was looking to top up the card via Paypal as this will give me an extra layer of secuirty when topping up.

Have anyone had experience wuith these cards and how different are prepaid debit cards to travel cards?

Cheers :)

The one I know is best used for large purchases only as they charge £1 for each purchase

Thanks guys for the help!

I am leaning towards another account possibly wioth the same bank (Barclays) as I know I can see them all uder one screen when I go online and can possibly transfer between each. I guess I can add restrictions on this one too.

Seems the easiest thing to do, you won't be charged anything then, and with Barclays you can get a picture of me on your card!
