Advice on which Canon EOS to get... Much appreciated - complete novice!

I've decided to ditch my compact for an dslr but even after all the technical blogs I'm still a bit unsure which one to get.. Any of you experts out there please could you advice if any of these are a good camera + lens combo and a good deal? Which one would you go for?

Personally out of your choices I'd go for 3.
BUT a 20d body would work out cheaper.
Don't be fooled by the Megapix as anything over 8mp is a waste unless you plan on printing A1 prints.
The main thing to remember is the lenses are the money SO buy quality.. Bodies are cheap.

go to jessops and handle the cameras. Hubby wa dead set on a top nikon and then he handle a high end sony and the canon 550d and decided they were both sitting nicer in his hand. He decided on canon in the end. Jessops wonty discount camera but we manage to get 50% off nearly all the accessories we boughts at the time saving about £120 but had to push salesman and twist his arm
