Will need to buy two and connect. Just not sure which hose to buy.

Xhose seems best choice as retracts and expands, I should think meaning less bulky.

We had a 75ft one, last about 6 months, probably used around 8 times and it broke.

I bought a 100ft one from the market. Works great, but you need to be careful not to snag it on sharp objects as the inner tube is fragile and can burst. I've had mine a year and it's still good. I bought 2 x 100ft ones to link together for my mum from Amazon that initially would not expand, but after a time, using separately, decided to work and is now working fine. So yes, I recommend expandable hoses.

They are super-lightweight and easy to store....just make sure they dry before you pack them into a shed cos the outer can go mouldy......
also.......that waterproof self amalgamating tape stuff is handy to fix any leaky connections......

i got an x hose last year and its far superior to the old type hoses, very light and easy to move around, no winding up onto reel and stores easily , i really like it .
