Dear Hotukdeals.

I have been looking at replacing my old HP all in one (bought 6 years ago) and The HP website recommended this model to me.

HP Photosmart C7180

£233 (cheapest I could find pc world) is a little out of my budget. - I am happy to spend about £150 ... But obviously the cheaper the better. I am also concerned about the price of refilling HP printers

any thoughts appreciated

I've got the C7180 and it's great. The print quality of normal printing and photo printing is very good. It doesn't seem to drink ink and so it hasn't so far been expensive to run. The cost of ink is no more or less than other HPs and you can always find deals on the internet. Of course if you only print photos it will be a thirsty machine.

A word of caution though, if you use the replacement ink offered by some companies rather than genuine HP ink cartridges the machine knows and sometimes will stop printing!

Also, the HP help line (based in Asia) are useless, but the on-line live chat one based in the USA are great. If you ever have a problem use them.

Hope this helps
