My android tv box which was working fine is suddenly stuck and won't boot. I can only see a boot logo and it says booting. How do I repair it? Can I erase and reload the xbmc and other software? Or is it bricked?

What make is it? If it is the m series mx or m8 in the audio socket on the back of the 2.5 millimetre jack u find a button press and hold while switching the box on the wall push it with a tooth pick and hold for 10 seconds and it should load the android boot log menu where you can restore to factory default

You need to provide the name, type of device.

IF you can get into recovery mode, you can clear settings etc

there might be a reset button on the bottom, very easy to miss.....looks like a thin strip cut into moulding or some boxes have theirs hidden inside the a/v socket
