We have a dyson which is pricey but worth it in the long run as we have had it for 11 years and still going strong. Very powerful for the dog's hairs.

dyson. I got ours from b and m for 99 pound last month was great

Thank you so much i have heared about dyson but they have diffrent models i dont know which one is best, also people says the cordless charge one doesnt last morethan 10 min is this right

I personally think dysons are overpriced plastic crap and wouldn't touch them at all ever again. The quality has gone down hill over years since they moved there manufacturing outside the U.K.
I have a Shark and got to admit it's bloody brilliant and wipes the floor with dysons

i have never found cordless hoovers to be any good. stick with the corded ones. we have dyson animal for dog hairs, which is very powerful in order to pick up the large volume of hairs.

I don't rate Dysons. This is from personal experience.

I work in a lot of offices and factories, and the cleaners, more often than not, have Henry's.

I think that fact speaks volumes for the efficiency and reliability of Henry vacuums.

I hate Dysons as well plastic over priced rubbish. I bought a Sebo upright years ago and best vacuum cleaner I have owned.
Henry vacuum cleaners are ok but wouldn't want to use them for the house.

Shark are really good. Costco often sell them cheap, Argos too.

Most vacuums are good as long as you service them. No end of dysons chucked out due to worn pick up brushes and dirty filters

That big clunky thing is better than a shark or dyson? I had one of these years ago.... not exactly easy to manoeuvre around the furniture and rubbish on pet hairs

Upright for carpets or cylinder for mostly hard floors seems to be the way to go. Upright is far easier to use on carpets. We mostly hardwood floors so have a Miele Complete C2 Powerline Cylinder Vacuum £130

Get a Sebo E3 pet mate

Miele another top make mentioned apparently very good

My Meile C2 cat and dog is brilliant for picking up pet hairs. Only downside is the cost of the bags, but still worth the investment.

Dyson V8 Absolute is amazing but it's pretty expensive.
