What should the resistance be for that coil?

If you spin the drum by hand is it generating an AC current in the coil?

What is the actual problem that you are getting?

Try asking in this forum http://www.diynot.com/

I have never measured tacho resistance myself, http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=229396 suggests 100 ohms could be about right.

I assume 100 ohms, not 100K or 100M

I had a problem with my washing machine, google with type of washing machine & actual fault, ie drum not turning.
