my girlfriends birthday over weekend and want to book a hotel mainly in southport but blackpool will do.

Is there any good deals going on really good hotels I can get for this saturday night.

Looking for a room with a tv of course and shower. or even better a jaquzzi.

loking for the hotel to have good facilites as well eg, swimming pool, bar/resturant, gym. but this is not essential.

Can you people help me thanks, or point me in the right direction with internet deals.

many thanks

lastminute.com are normally good for finding this sort of thing :)

They have a 4* Blackpool Hotel at £69inc breakfast for Saturday night. It has leisure facilities too. It's in the top secret section (it should be at the top when you search for blackpool hotels) so you don't find out the actual name until you have booked. If you'd prefer to know where you're going try http://hotels.lastminute.com/ .

i live in southport and i think the best place would be the travel lodge on the sea front.
Its within walkin distance from town (over pier or new bridge) and is usually reasonably priced, clean and quite a recent development.
The bar is good too, and your opposite the cinema, bowling, pizza hut, frankie and bennies, nandos, elements, matalan and a few decent shops.
Id check their first.
