Can you give me an indication on what price you wanna pay?

Keep in mind some places (independants) will do you a deal on bulk buying from them for items that you can lump together as one sale.

When we moved I ordered all my appliancies from Pixmania (part of currys) they were cheapest for everything I wanted. I got a good discount (different discount dependant on amount) + 3% quidco. I paid for them to connect my range cooker and they set me up a complete new connection for £40 and he was here 2hrs. They unpacked everything and took away all of the packing ect. Excellent service, great deal I was very pleased and highly recommend.

Seriously....DONT use pixmania, if you ever have cause to return an item, it must be returned to a warehouse in Paris at cost to you. I wanted to return a dvd player that I saved £30 on the UK price, but it would cost me £60 to return it. I regret buying from them to this day :x

It's not a useless comment. I wonder how hard OP has actually looked for anything.

"It's ok I'll just post this shooping list and everyone will chase and search around for me and produce a list with all the cheapest prices for me."

Well you go ahead if you like!

Well I must say I have had no probs with anything that I have purchased, touch wood. I am more than happy with everything I ordered and the service.

Is your sister can afford to buy all of these things brand new including a 40inch HD TV how come she is moving into a council place? My brother is homeless, crashing on peoples sofas and on the council waiting list, yet people who can afford LUXERIES such as 40" tvs get them.
This country really is a joke!!

Yes heard of google and also using price comparison sites like kelkoo to get best prices. Entire point of this thread is so others can give me benefits of their experience like alfie73 has above. Also, if someone spotted a good offer, they can let me know.

I am not asking for anyone to stop everything they are doing and look for bargains for me.

Did you read my original post? Are you telling me gas cooker, fridge, washing machine and all the above list except for the tv are luxeries?

As for your brother, sorry to hear he is homeless and on the council waiting list. Here is a tip, let him crash at your place if you are that worried about him.

My sister has been waiting on the council list for 8 years for a flat while she and her husband have been crashing at my place.

MOD EDIT - Closed @ OP Request

You know any independents? Wouldn't mind bulk buying as long as you get a warranty. Never used an independent before, can I have more info please.
