I think there parts to hold the handle bar still when working on bike and the two straps are for holding the wheel

ha ha...thats funny...sounds like many of my attempts at building stuff at xmas. ...maybe its parts for a bike stand stand!

I suspect they have nothing to do with the stand as it works perfectly well and they arent listed in the manual

Good idea - will give it a try

edit - seems to fit but doesnt really achieve much
