Any K800i deals to recommend?

Any recommendations?

Not concerned on which network or the amount of mins or txts apart from the requirement of an anytime x-net tariff

Looking for the cheapest 'safe' cashback option, unless there are any awesome direct deals.

(Basically am fed up of PAYG, EasyMobile apart but then I cant get a PAYG K800i on that network)!

Similarly if I can get the K800i for circa £150 on PAYG plz let me know!

Thanks!

Hi bookshifter,

You can get the k800i for 9 months half price on a 12 month contract. It costs you £35 per month thus bringing the total to £420. You get a cashback through redemtion of £157.5, bringing the yearly rental at £262.5. You can also get another £30 through Quidco, bringing it down to £232.5 for the year. Which works out to be £19.38 per month for the year. Not bad for a good phone and a lot of x-network minutes.

This will give you 400 minutes and 100 texts per month on O2. I have taken this deal and am quite happy with this service thus far.

Use it, don't use it - It's your choice. ;)

Thanks huispan!

Which vendor is offering this deal?

I would guess that 9 months 1/2 price is probably the best deal you can get at the mo.

Thanks,

I got one from o2 online when it came out for £19 a month and the phone comes free.

not as many texts/minutes as the deal above 200 texts + 50 minutes a month but it works out £228 and you can get £35 back via quidco. got my quidco money back ok so no complaints their.

so with quidco is £193 for the whole year and you get the handset + 200 texts + 50 minutes per month. thats just a lil over £16 a month!

That is the cheapest contract around currently I think

The 9 months half price deal is with carphonewarehouse. Just go to their site and have a look over, should be there somewhere. I got a similiar deal with e2save the other day and no problems tracking with quidco. Shows up about 10 minutes later.

Bookshifters contract: 200 minutes + 50 texts @ £193.00 = £16.08 per month
This one above : 400 minutes + 100 texts @ £232.50 = £19.38 per month

Both these deals are dependent on the fact that you submit all your cashbacks and claim through quidco. All in all not much of difference, it all depends what your needs are.

Have you ever used this phone ?

Take it from me, it is HUGE, it's like a brick. The screen is excellent & the camera great, but apart from that it is utter crap !!

Get a SE W810i - best phone on the market at the minute :)

Personally I think the K800 is the best phone out, deffenatly the best Sony Ericsson model out specifications wise currently.

Measurements 106mm x 47mm x 18mm and the weight is 115g

I have purchased the phone off ebay for £165. Then choose the best 12 month free contract with the highest value phone (probably the V3X at the moment) Sell that phone and use the new contract wityh your k800i. in this way i only pay £15 for the year bargain!

Please be very careful selling an expensive mobile on ebay. Mobiles are the main thing scammers go for. :x

If you need tips etc please ask.
