Thinking about things like buying vouchers at reduced cost. Any NHS, student or other discounts for vouchers? Will probably look for a reward credit card to buy it with to at least get something Read More

So nothing then? If lg were releasing their v20 here I'd be interested but I'm through with Samsung. My note 4 has had loads of problems lately and Samsung have been useless at resolving them. Plus it's annoying that the iPhone 6s still beats any android phone in performance. Android really needs to get better processors.

I know that if you have unidays, on O2 if you take out a contract you can get 20% off the airtime plan (the contract is split into device cost and airtime cost) but other than that, maybe trade in your note 4 somewhere to help bring down the cost, but the delivery date on most of the phones (7 plus being the worst) is 2-3 weeks.
Link To O2 iPhone 7
For example, £180 upfront and £41.50 a month for 3gb 4g data, unlimited mins/texts.
£20 a month is the device and £21.50 the device but with the 20% off the airtime it makes it £37.20 a month.

Thanks for the info but I don't need a contract this year so it looks like buying outright will be the cheapest option.

In that case buddy, Id say sell your note 4 to carphone warehouse or game or something and put it towards to the cost to lessen the blow :p

Apple will always out perform Android phones.

Makes me laugh when people say a Chinese octo core CPU phone is better than Apples dual core phones. Antutu benchmark test shows all you need to see regarding speed. Samsung Galaxy s (what ever the latest is) does almost match Apples iPhone SE.

At the top of the chart is the iPad Pro using a dual core CPU.

"s whatever it is" you dont even know the name of the phone let alone how well it performs and is better then a se even better the iphone 7 if you are fussed about a phone being mili secs slower then go ahead pay the extra 200quid or so vs a s7 which offers the best camera out there currently and one of the best displays vs the **** iphone display, also a phone that doesn't offer headphone jack and have to pay 100 odd quid if you want to listen to music while charging your phone a s7 is miles better.

Last 2 phones were note 2 and note 4. Both were amazing especially note 4 screen but with all the problems and how much more powerful the iPhones are (check gsmarena for the note 7 being beaten in speed test by the iPhone 6s) I think I will jump ship and give apple a go. (Unless something really cool is announced soon - maybe waiting for the first Google daydream phones is a good idea)

considering price of a new on and resale value after a year thats either working out the same or bit less

I recon apple will pull the hault on preorders because 'too much demand' when there clearly is not and when they release them for sale again, they will announce worst sales in years

I thought the snapdragon 820 in my xiaomi mi5 was pretty good, but I see you are an expert in the matter how would you rate it?

Lol why are android users so defensive. I use both operating systems and although android is decent enough on the samsung the iphone is superior both in hardware and software. Doesnt make the samsung rubbish just not as good

I think most are just mad and I can sometimes too at it,

Like Iphone 1GHZ - Samsung S7 2.8GHZ or so just saying of my head, but opening apps there pretty head to head
however for me apple is so limited and there is so many things you can't do, very dull phones, but I can see why people use as there easy to use, but so overpriced

One of if not the best android cpu/gpu but it's beaten by the a9 chip in the iPhone 6s (the a10 in the iPhone 7 is up to 50% better again)

£20 a month is the device and £21.50 the device but with the 20% off the airtime it makes it £37.20 a month.

Unidays discount is not available on iPhone 7. checked and confirmed in 2 O2 stores
