Any valid Dell discount vouchers about?

I'm on the verge of buying a Dell laptop (XPS M1330) but am trying to find a discount voucher first. I know Dell often have plenty of codes knocking about (ideally a 10% would be good) but all the ones I have tried from this site have expired.

Anyone seen any recently in the press or online? If not, should I wait until they bring some out? Is it a regular monthly/quarterly thing?

Thanks,

R

FIRSTBUY-0102 gives £50 off first order for small business use (orders over £550+vat) voucheroasis seems to indicate that is £100 off today but I doubt it. I beleive the voucher is only valid used over phone

Thanks marktq1. I had seen that post but Dell business prices seem to be higher than the Dell home prices (??!). The £50 discount is swallowed up but a £100 increase in price in the first place! :(

try ringinging the business number and qoting an e code from the home section its the end of dells financial year this month they will be keener to sell also just try and negotiate a discount 10% say you got nothing to lose , ask them to ring back you may be on the phone a while if that firstbuy is £100 today that would make a difference

Have just found a 10% off deal that works. Go to myvouchercodes.co.uk you might have to go through a few but I think it was the 3rd one down that worked. I'm also buying the XPS M1330 and got £63 off.
The code I used was

6$3PDNQL4CD2VJ

Hope this helps.

Just want to point out that with Dell, the cheapest starting price doesn't necessary mean the cheapest when configurated to specs you want, do mess around with different starting packages to get the best deal.

I agree with marktq, no matter what deals they have online, you most likely get the best deal only if you call them.

how often do DELL discount codes come around?

going to order a laptop pretty soon but not liking the £60 delivery charge taking my order over £500.

there was a 10% discount code or something a week or so back, likely to be again anytime soon?

put the code above into my order and it says

'Coupons Entered
The following coupons have been entered but require additional information or do not meet eligibility requirements. Click "View Details" link(s) for more information.

10% Money off
Expires 23 January 2008'

whats that mean

Sorry the code didn't seem to work. Have just been back on myvouchercodes to have a look. I just kept trying each code until one was accepted. Not exactly ideal I know but it did take a few goes. Might be worth going through a couple of codes. Mine might have only been releveant for a XPS notebook.

cheers, it actually does work, must be £599 min order value tho

going to order an Inspiron 1525, was going to cost £511 for 2ghz core2duo, 2gig ram and 120gb harddrive.

using the 10% discount have now added a webcam, harddrive 250gb now and a zip pouch for it for £518 delivered

cheers

Excellent! Thanks! Makes up for the extortionate delivery charge.
