Amazon normally only ever do this if you has signed up to a free months trial. Unless chosen to cancel auto renewal it takes the full year automatically. However amazon will refund you as long as you haven't used the free delivery since it signed you up.

Edit: You just need to speak on live chat or ring them.

Have you ever had free one day delivery with Amazon? You sign up for free trial and if you don't cancel then Amazon take £79 from your account to cover Amazon prime for one year. Easy done.

I did the other week. If you go into your account online there is a button to cancel it, as long as you haven't used it you will be refunded but it takes about 5 days.

There's no way whatsoever for them to take the money if you don't have an account.

In other words: you clicked for Prime Membership or forgot to cancel a free trial and are now moaning about it on here.
