Looking for a computer base and wondered what someone on here would charge if interested!?

As its only the base unit-can be brought by courier too.

You would be far better keeping an eye out for the Dell deals that Mike posts. Often there are some great pc's without monitors and by the time you had got someone to build one, paid some extra, paid for a courier and let's not forget you'll need to buy an operating system (if you already do not have one)

Then the Dell option is by far a better deal.

Also think about warranty, what if one of the components goes wrong? How much hassle will it be sending the unit back to the person who built it and do they want the hassle of them getting the part replaced.

by the time u pay for the parts and someone to build it and perphaps postage you'll probably pay more than it would cost from dell.

What kind of pc are you after? i will build one for you for £20 if you pay postaged here and back to you, which should only cost around £12 here and back as i know someone on ebay that does it for £5.99, well let me know if you want a fantastic pc built for you. Dave

I want a decent motherboard for starters -not these £35 ones !
Intel core 2 processor,
1gb ram ddr2
160gb hd
fairly decent graphics card.
dvd writer (silver )
dvd rom (silver)
x blade silver case with blue led - do not want anything in black thanks!
Thats about it really.

y dnt u build your own?its cheaper you already know what you want

Never done it before-thought about it- worried i wont get the motherboard in right and it will short out and blow !
Also not sure of the cooling and fans and power supply.
I have ordered a book though on building computers -so will see when it arrives -sometime next week i imagine !

everything plugs in u cnt plug things in wrong place
