Hey wrong section - should go in deal requests or misc, not to worry a moderator with move it in a bit!

erm... think you should have posted in the "deal requests" area

This should be in deal requests. It's not that difficult to deduce, even for a n00b.

However:

1) Its Premier Inn now (I'm not being pedantic, but for searching for discounts, knowing this may help)
2) Premier Inn "don't do discounts" as they want to differentiate themselves from other budget chains (ie: Travelodge).

Annoying, but true. its the set rate or nothing in my experience, and from a quizzical email to customer services.

if they're feeling cheapskate....try a Travelodge "special offer" room for £29.....or at least go through Quidco for 3% cashback

Thanks for your reply, sorry about putting the request in the wrong section not the easiest of sites, I do think though that you could have been a "tad kinder" to someone who is new to this!

You've just discovered that this site is populated by people that have nothing better to do than find fault with everyone else's posts, sad but true.

Picking fault would be picking up a spelling mistake. I don't think its harsh to point out it was put in the wrong section to be honest. However, its easy to pick fault with your post AuctionSniper, as you added nothing to the discussion - I did at least post some information about Premier Inn.

as already stated premier inn don't do discounts though it has been mentioned before if you're dissatisfied with your stay you get a refund or something. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

try Intercontinental Hotels (Holiday Inn etc) for 2 for 1 deals on their Best Flexible Rates. I've used it before now and got 2 rooms for 2 nights and it cost me £90!

Also, go through Quidco for extra cashback too.

Premier Inn do a "Good night guarantee". Supposedly you get a full refund if you are not happy. I don't know how easy it is to do, because although I've been tempted, I've never had the bottle to do it!

Pointing out that something is posted in the wrong section is one thing, also inferring that the poster is a complete cretin for getting it wrong is unacceptable. Don't bother replying as I shan't bother reading any more of your drivel.
