Has anyone received their £10 Tesco gift card from Mighty Deals and having problems with it ?

We have today received our £10 Tesco Gift Card's in the post from Mighty Deals, but when trying to use them we are told they both have a zero balance (£0.00).

Has anyone else received their cards and having the same problems ?

Oh dear, lots of people have problems with mighty deals.

I can't help directly but is there an email/contact number available?

I've e-mailed them but I had a problem with an order back in January and they never got the problem resolved. I was hoping this was going to be straightforward :(

I believe they had issues before with the same type of deal, vouchers were sent with the same code on them. You need to find some way of contacting them ( or maybe moneyexpert.com who own MD) failing that I would ccontact your bank or card issuer and start a claim for the money.

And people keep asking why they are banned from HUKD...

They are banned from HUKD ? - That is how I heard about the promotion.

Both cards have different codes, and are genuine Tesco gift cards. According to Tesco Live Chat the cards are not showing on their systems, so most likely not activated by MD.

Yes they are most certainly banned from here although we keep getting members posting in Misc with deals or on threads,these have been removed as quickly as possible when found.

They were banned over a year ago as they had nonexistent customer service and some people were scammed.

You'll have to replace the starred out part with the name of the company as it wont let me write it as they are banned XD

Interesting chat with Tesco - They inform me that it would appear the cards haven't been activated before being posted out, and it isn't possible to activate them afterwards :(

I've e-mailed MD so will have to wait and see what they say (if they reply).

Otherwise I will have to do a chargeback with my credit card - but really wanted this deal.

It would also be interesting to hear from others who have received their Tesco cards to see whether they have the same problem - You can check the balance online.

Just had a reply back from MD stating that these are supposed to automatically update after 24 hours, and they will get back to me on Monday to confirm.

Lets wait and see what happens.....

Yer absolutely no reason to believe there is a problem. when other companies sell other peoples giftcards they take a while to activate, plus they may not work weekends.

I too recieved my card today with a zero balance! Not impressed have emailed them but was advised it takes 2 working days for a reply, shocking!!

Have any of you ever managed to order more than one of the gift cards???

The £10 for £5 ones I mean, e.g. Tesco, Currys/PCWorld, Argos etc. :)

oO how do you know people are complaining for no reason ...obviously people have have had bad experiences and have shared them with the hukd community...im still waiting i wasn't complaining, i made a simple statement saying its the first and last time i use them....get over it

Because they havent done anything wrong, and you saying you wont use them again because you havent received a card that they said would take 10 working days is nuts

It would appear that what Tesco had advised me was incorrect. There was me believing that Tesco would be correct!

I've checked the balances this morning and they are now showing correctly as £10.00 each.

Maybe Tesco were right, but MD activated them before sending but it takes up to 48hrs to activate. Glad its sorted though :)

me too. i received card yesterday and embarrassingly handed over at tesco checkout to be told there is 0 balance. checked it today and balance is now 10?? must take 24 hours

I haven't received them yet but I ordered like 6 and money has been taken for them so I assume that I will receive them.

It was bought by each person in my household but I think I used each credit card twice.

Moneysavingexpert does not own Mighty deals.

Iv had loads of deals from them and never a problem.

I don't think anyone said that Moneysavingexpert owns Mighty Deals, but MoneyExpert. Similar names, but two different companies.

When I try to use it, it says that the gift card is not authorized even though it shows the correct £10 balance. Guess I'll wait a couple of days.

Moneysavingexpert does not own Mighty deals.

Iv had loads of deals from them and never a problem.

MoneyExpert Jack, Not MSE totally different sites/people.
