Anyone recommend a decent Digital Photo Frame?

I forgot it was my parents anniversary tomorrow and I want to get them a decent sized digital photo frame. I've seen quite a few but I'm looking for any recommendations that people have as so many people seem to think that they're carp!

Need as big a frame as possible with at least an 800 x 400 resolution and hopefully around the £80 mark.
Grateful for any advice you may offer.

If you're going for a digi frame get something with a standard resolution and aspect ratio. Either 640x480 or 800x600. The digiview one with a 640-480 resolution that was posted here seems a good deal.

I've ordered one.

i've got a 10inch Kodak one from Amazon. I'm not very technical-but you just poke your card in and go ! The advantage is my family don't live near and they put photos on a cheap memory card and send pics over every few weeks which i can run for a while, and then i send it back and they update it (you can probably do this with any one-but just an idea).

Hope this helps:thumbsup:

Best ones to go for are the Phillips ones as they seem to be the very rare ones that support random pictures the rest go in chronogical order which can get so dull. Some of the Phillips even have a night/day timer so they switch on and off auto with current time displayed on the screen.

I have a phillips and having seen the competition it wipes the floor with them all :).

Bought a £99 sony one from M&S the other day.. really excellent, has 256mb memory inside but accepts all known cards.
I've heard that some can play videos and music, however this one just does pics but does them really very well. The unit is made by Sony, so looks the part too. Put the frame on its side and pics rotate automatically. Very nice.
I know they have one for £130 which has HDMI out for output to a TV, and likewise I've heard of ones that can access wireless drives and even flikr/snapfish albums online, but I find that these features as well as video/music are gimics, and I'm really happy with my unit.
