Not sure if they are correct comparisons, if you know what I mean. The material used by Corelle is different. In terms of style, Corelle is more contemporary while Wedgwood has a traditional look and feel to it.
Corelle is great for every day use as they are very sturdy.

I recommend it 110% ...have used mine for over 20yrs... my mum's still using hers and it's still as good as new...

My sister has had the same set for 10+ years looking good and are really sturdy. Would highly recommend but havent seen them for a decent price here

Corelle is purchased mainly for its durability, its light weight and more resistant to chips and breaks (Think Pyrex of the plate world)
Its not that its not popular here in the UK, its just that its difficult to find sometimes as its not something high street shops sell. Think argos have only started selling them for the last 2 or 3 year (could be wrong)

Wedgewood is fantastic quality but your paying more for the designs, also its more of a British institute compared to Corelle

When it does break it's lethal....just look on youtube for Corelle breaks.
