Interesting. I take it that I could just uninstall my current Kodi that's on my Amazon Fire TV box, then install this version via the instructions?
[helper]#4
Just erase the cache and data and follow the instructions in the video link on the twitter feed of chris.

I have saved a backup my original build just in case (_;) but so far really cool.

It's perfect for football and movies of course and no headache of individually installing each add on.

ive found with kodi, less is better. when I first got it I installed everything but over time, trimmed it down to a few add ons which are quality and I actually use.

you can get caught up in the whole this and that add on but ive got my favs which cover me for everything.

Completely agree and hence was reluctant to try it. It does make setting up Kodi ridiculously simple. But I guess a build is only as good as working links!;)

true, that's why I stick to the guys who do keep their add ons updated. don't see the need to have 50 odd movie add ons etc as they all provide the same stuff.

on a side note, seo Michael is a top bloke. very helpful.

Can anyone recommend the best kodi links for sports, movies and general TV?
I've installed sports devil but links are useless. Thanks in advance.

Thanks I'll try them out :)

Really disappointed with kodi. What links that work the quality is atrocious for both live football and TV shows/movies and I have installed the main ones recommended.
Then the links, click after click after click, its exhausting and annoying. Finding footy is especially tiresome.
Id love to know how these kodi boxes work that you have to pay for, perhaps they have the better links under subscription or something.

For football I'll continue to stick with my usual streams that are reliable and more importantly organised with almost HD quality. Only issue is certain links get disabled after a while which is usually ustream and within seconds I go try the next link and footy is back on. As for movies/TV shows, far better/quality/reliable stream sites available aswell as torrents of course.
I will try Zeus & Vdubt25 for sports and Genesis for tv & movies as mentioned above but if there poor, I'm done with it.

Ive just installed on the Fire TV.
Its a massive 1.37GB download !! That should tell you how many adds ons there are.
A lot of them work and great work configuring all the links for Ivue TV.
Will have a play about with it for a while but will probably delete it and go back to the tried and tested.
#13
these builds just pile everything in. unfortunately, a build is only as good as the add ons it contains. more add ons means more memory used. Builds are brilliant in the customisation aspect like background pics etc but in terms of add ons, go for minimum.

Kodi links are always unreliable and troublesome.I hardly remember 1-2 matches which I watched without some problem.
If you don't mind missing out on Gary Neville's commentary, you should try switching to nbcsn for the actual match - it's almost hd quality and hardly if any buffering. For champions league try Fox sports. Both links are available in vdubt25,phoenix,zeus,robocop,etc
Its the price we pay for not paying for live sports I guess (_;)

I customized it further by removing some shortcuts (wwe, international, etc) and addons which I don't need.
Michael has good link on customizing Aeon nox if at all you are not familiar with it. I have also added some short cuts and it looks pretty good and a bit different already.
You are free to trim it and its a bit easier than adding links.
#16
Any one used it also tried the tvmc custom ?
That's what I'm running at the moment but would switch if this is better..
#17
I know people are going to moan here, but I actually didn't like the Aeon Nox skin, I found it a bit to 'full on' and had to revert it back to a more boring and easy layout. I guess I get confused easily oO

i downloaded kodi 15 installer and this beast build installer. gave it to a friend on a memory stick who hasnt got a clue about stuff like this, and he loved it and didnt have to call me to ask anything. great for people who want to use kodi on their pc, because they have heard others rave about it but dont know where to start.

Thats because you are using the free links - it cant be depended on, hence why people move into IPTV.

Subscription based & every single Sky channel, 3pm sports etc, all in HD ;)

The Ruya add-on with a subscription to one of these servers is the best thing ever.

Intruding on this thread, but what happened to the HD NBCSN stream? It just seemed to disappear one day and never returned.

I use theblackboxbuild and pay for a 6 months subscription to sportsmania for £27,Nice and light with just the add ons you need,go with this set up and you will not need anything else.

I'm looking for a build that has good TV guide integration, so I don't have to manually set up each channel to link with ivue. Also, as it is for my in-laws, and my father in law has hearing problems, it needs to have subtitles available on as many channels and shows as possible.

get a dodgy sky box, use a tplink to get ethernet to it, box is 40 quid, then pay for a ccline which is around 30-50£ a year and have all the sports channels on tv perfect quality hd

The beast build has been around for a while
Worth checking as its updated quite a bit
I've uninstalled and reinstalled a newer version recently
Its a massive build but not everything works and you have to know where to go for live sports etc
Can't grumble , its free

Incase anyone try blackbox build they are in the middle of changing host servers. So current repo will not find the wizard.

I found that on amazon tv stick it doesn't run very well at all.... jutting and stopping all over the place....

I'm going to reset and install only the best add ons.... which add ons are best?

I'm into live TV with a guide.. The latest films and possibly some sports..

also whats the best source to use?

my mate uses 'fusion' and I have been using 'just new tech' .. any others that are better?

I use Theblackboxostv on my firestick with no issues at all since the release of the firestick.
If you do wish to use check the twitter feed for the new host link address and it has changed in the past 48 hours so most videos etc will be out of date.

PS are you using Kodi with Firestarter on your stick. If not send me a PM sure.

For those who don't have the Beast build, the best add on for sports, especially football is NJM Soccer. I definitely recommend you install it.

This can sometimes happen if you don't do the force close after install. Only way to fix is clean install. Though be careful as tbb and ares servers are down for fresh installs. Only one working this evening for fresh installs is the wizard via http://spartanpixel.net/repo/ once you have it installed then the ares wizard works. But do not try through http://www.areswizard.co.uk/zip/ as currently it will not work.

I never use builds. They're full of addons that just don't work. You can manually add the few addons you need yourself with ease
