Once upon a time this was free, but I think they scrapped the free services completely about four or five years back now. I couldn't give you any alternatives either unfortunately.

To be honest I've completely stopped using ebay now since their fee's make it almost not profitable to do so. Before you sell something you should check out the ebay and Paypal fee calculators just so that you're aware of how much they will deduct.

Check out Gumtree if you're interested in an alternative.

Heed 573310's advice, since March last year I have been first listing stuff on Gumtree and only then listing on Ebay if it doesn't sell in a week or two and about 1/3 of my stuff sells on Gumtree, no post, no fees, although an occasional hour here or there wasted on muppets that can't tell the time.

To be fair postage rates over the years have had way more of an effect on the money to be made on Ebay than the fees.

Thanks for your advice guys.
And you are right prices are very high.
But thing with eBay is it will sell your item far and you will get more hits. Tried Gumtree and all I got was people who played the wasting time game.
I thought ebay owned Gumtree too
