Most say the overcharge and it is a real struggle to reclaim the extra payments.

A few have really recommended them for price and service.

Is it worth risking it or any other provider which is better value ?

I'm with them no issues so far. they reply via Twitter very quickly to sort any issues out which is a bonus. I had an issue entering meter reading but was sorting within a few hrs.

Not specific to them, but you have to be wary of all the small providers right now.

When energy prices were static, or going down, the small guys can offer a lower price than the big guys who buy their energy months in advance; but when the prices start rising, the big guys have a price cushion and the little guys dont; either the prices go up a lot, or they go to the wall.

A number of small suppliers have gone bust in recent months, and others have significantly raised prices.

(speaking from experience).

The work the two aspects of the bill. Standing Charge and unit cost. They will push the standing charge up to make the unit price look good. But if you are cleaver you can use that to your advantage. If you use a lot take the low unit. If you use little take the low standing charge. But compare the bill on both don't trust their figures.
