Anyway to speed up eBay non-receipt case?

So bought an Xbox off of eBay (not the one i posted about last week) from a person with 81 feedback and no negatives, the seller has recent feedback with last good feedback being july 4th + plenty oth…

So bought an Xbox off of eBay (not the one i posted about last week) from a person with 81 feedback and no negatives, the seller has recent feedback with last good feedback being july 4th + plenty others recently and has been a member for a year, so all looked good.

Have waited 7 days so far for what was meant to be 24hr parcelforce postage.

I look today and see the seller has 2 negatives stating they haven't received and the seller hasn't responded to any messages. So seeing as someone has obviously hijacked the account and has scammed a few others is there anyway ebay will speed up the 8 day waiting time for the seller to respond to the open case as the seller obviously wont respond.

No you'll have to wait. I've had to a few times :(

eBay are no help, just tell you to follow procedures!

Ebay are **** when you have a problem take for instance anyone can sell say gift codes but if you dint get them neither paypal or ebay will do anything to help you.. NOTHING!! For their extortionate 10% fees they say they are only the middlemen and wont get involved i really hate them they wont help,you yet if you send something and recipient says it hasn't arrived they will instantly freeze your payment until YOU prove they have received it. **** pure and simple

Partially true.... they are **** but PayPal now cover you for digital items apparently!

If you follow what they say (use a trackable delivery method) doesn't that prove they have received it?

on the 8th day after midnight you can escalate the case to eBay, if the seller hasn't replied by then and the case has been escalated eBay will automatically refund you.

So can escalate on 8th day or 9th day
