I've been buying £1 cables from poundland, but these only last about a month.

Can anyone recommend a good quality replacement that works and has been working after many months of daily use?

It needs to deal with daily use and also the twisting that occurs when using the Apple device while also charging it!

Thanks

I have always just gone with Apple Cables, yes over time they get a bit flimsy but i am 8 months over my standard 1 year warranty and they still replace it anyway.

I can second Anker as being great, the braided ones last ages and they have a no quibble 18 month warranty. They usually send me a new one if I send them a photo of one worn out.

I'll third Anker if you don't want to stretch to a new Apple one

Definitely Echo Ironware!
Echo IronWire MFi Ultra-Strong Lightning Cable - 1.5m. It's the only cable to have lasted in our house!

The Lightning cable strong enough to tow a car. This extremely tough Lightning cable when connected to a computer or USB mains adapter allows your iPhone, iPad or iPod to charge and sync. With Apple MFi certification.

Thanks, I did see this on Amazon earlier, plenty of good reviews, but also some bad (as is always the case). Currenly £6.99 for 6 foot cable, may be worth a try.
Thanks to the others recommending Anker too.

Unfortunately costs over £20, out of our budget I'm afraid.

Amazon basics cables are good.

I've gone for an Anker, hopefully last a while. Thanks.
I didn't want to go for the Amazon basics.

I just bought a couple of "Original Apple OEM" ones from Moby Memory which seem ok.

I have found the best ones are from poundland but have to be the ones that say improved quality.
seems to have a solid molded end that does not fall apart like other cheap ones.
