Simple answer, no it can't, only the 2nd gen
#2
Or simply stop breaking the law and pirating films? If you want it, pay for it and stop freeloading.
#3
if apple tv 2nd gen seems a bit much you could try an android box. I got the cyclone x4 and that has xbmc on and if you google you will find quite a few equivalent apps to movie box from android that do the job or you could stop freeloading :'( lol.

Moviebox streams illegal torrents. And IF you BUY the film, yes you can download it 'legally'.

well Spotify is free on my tablet, so that gives me music on my iphone and ipad. There are loads of free TV apps to watch TV on via the internet, and it's not illegal to watch online streams for the odd film. Hosting them may well be, but i'm not downloading anything.

"it's not illegal to watch online streams for the odd film" - Of course it is if that film is not watched via a legal method.

ok, but there are legal ways to watch them for free, are there not? I merely said nobody needs to pay for them (which they don't) and I don't pay for them? you're the one on your moral high horse about illegal streams

Ooooooo I've got a stalker. And a charming one at that.
I bet you bypass your leccy meter and use next doors wifi.

So what you're saying is that NO ONE should ever pay for music or movies or tv? How do any of those industries work in that case?
I'm proud that I work hard enough to be able to afford to pay for sky and music downloads. I was brought up to believe if you can't afford something, you go without it.
You'll get what you deserve sooner or later.

You seriously believe that? You are obtaining the film from an illegal source and yes despite you saying you are not 'downloading' it it is most certainly illegal. If you really are naive enough to believe otherwise more fool you.

no need to be so rude!

I am still awaiting where in UK law that anyone streaming from showbox etc is breaking the law

go look and then come back and apologise for being wrong

seen this discussed countless times and no-one has ever found a law to back your thought up.

it is only illegal to SHARE, hence torrenting films is illegal. Downloading them from ANY source is not illegal.

You need to pipe down about making wrong assumptions on my character. Just because I use FREE, LEGAL apps, makes me a freeloader?! You don't even know what you're talking about, I'm not on about torrent sites - I'm talking apps paid for by advertisers.

What you're saying, is that people who watch 4od, ITV player, on demand services that are free through the internet - are freeloading thieves?

That says more about you than it does me.....
