Are any of these laptops any good?

Hi, I have been looking at several of the posts re buying a laptop and would like to know if any of these deals are any good as they are coming up at Costco and I really like their after sales service.
First one is Toshiba Notebook P100-152 with case.
Intel Core 2 Duo 5200 1.6 GHz
1gb Memory
80gb HDD
Intel 945GM UMA Graphics
Vista Premium
This one is £704.99

Second one is HP Notebook
Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.6GHz
2 x 512mb Memory
120gb HDD
G72 128MB Dedicated Graphics
15.4" WXGA BV
Vista Premium
This one is £763.74

This is all the information on the vouchers and they are a bit more than I wanted to spend but as I said, I really like the service from Costco but dont know if you can get much better elsewhere.

Many thanks

Both are rather overpriced.. try speccing up the same level laptops at dell - shouldnt cost that much.
Tis entry level as core 2 duos go, not a massive hdd on the former, and a gig of RAM isnt perfect for vista. What are you going to need it for?
The lattr has dedicated graphics (though not brilliant) so better for gaming but killer on the battery life.
Both good brands though.
i agree, both good makes, but very much overpriced

I was fortunate to get one of the Acers on sale at Tesco....really nice laptop!

Enjoying it!

However I after one of the Toshiba laptops...the P series.

However this one was the

It seems much better!

Well I was able to get it at the £594.89 but didnt go for it! lol
Hi, thanks for your replies. I only intend to use for a small amount of gaming but mainly for surfing the web along with some work applications. I am glad you said that as I really did not want to pay as much. Can you recommend the best dell for around £400-£450 as I would be happy to buy from them. (I bought my daughter a computer from them last December and need another for our house so hopefully I can get a good deal on that along with a laptop)
have you seen this one at £699.99 and 3.5% Quidco cashback
