I have only ever had the CX300 from your range but I did think they were very good for the money. I picked mine up for £6 odd on Amazon a year or so back. Only complaint is, like all earphones of that type, they didn't last more than a few months.

Thanks Matt. Are you sure they were genuine? The wholesale price is reportedly rather high and so units coming under 15 are likely to be counterfeit. This is widespread on Play, Amazon and eBay.

I'm now looking at a pair of magicsound PL30, anyone any experience with these?

Yeah they were genuine (it was sold by Amazon themselves), just one of Amazon's hour long prices or whatever it was. Was a long while ago. Definitely no complaints bar the breaking, but I am fairly rough in transporting my earphones so I don't particularly blame the earphones.

I don't know about the CX300, but with the CX500 there are a lot of fakes that are cheaper. I bought a pair of CX500's last year and another pair last month from the same buyer on playtrade for £21 as they were genuine and not fake.

I got these for a fiver about a month ago and think they are the best in ear ones I've had to date. Very comfortable and great bass. Upto £10 now though but worth keeping an eye on. Good quality and look like they will last a while.

The seller was GameWholesaleLtd, just as well I keep my invoices! =P

I've seen Amazon and Play (direct from them) list the white ones from time to time as £16, but it seems you can only get them from traders on there now :S

Cheers, going to get a pair of pl30's from the authorised seller on ebay

When headphone buying time comes around again, will keep my eyes open for some nice Sennheisers.

Sounds too late now, but the vmoda bass freq are worth a look and fall within your price range on eBay. Especially if you're a bass heavy fan.

Other than that CX300 or 500 imo
