Its not bad, but just order and try it and if you dont like it return it as avon take back unliked items under their very flexible return policy.

that's a good policy, maybe worth a try then. personally woulld give up my bare escentuals though

I tried it as both myself and daughter use Bare escentuals and it is getting to be a dear job but I'm afraid we're both back to Bare escentuals, which I buy from www.feelunique.com

I've tried the new no 7 mineral powder and its very good. It was about £14/15 I think.
Thought I might try the Bare Escentuals one - do you need the primer, the mineral veil and the foundation. It is pricey if you need all three.
Also - how do you know which colour to get? Did you buy it in a shop to start with?
My skin is quite fair - do I go fair, fairly light, light?

Personally I don't use the primer but i do like the mineral veil as I am an older lady and it gives a dewy finish, my daughter just uses the foundation we both use medium tan. My daughter in law introduced me to Bare escentuals buying me a Get started complexion kit for Xmas which are good because you get the brushes, but now I just order the foundation. I think Debenhams may have testers if you're unsure of what colour you'll need.

Thanks, wil try Debenhams and Rackhams for colours etc.
Someone has told me that Sheercover is good too. Their starter kit comes out about £36 delivered and it looks as if there's more to it than the Barescentuals. Again no testers though but they only do 4 colours - light, medium, dark and tan - so I suppose it is easier to choose. It must be better to have more colour choice though, as the Bare escentuals have, so you can match your skin to the colour.
